If you come to learn with us you can choose between: private kitesurfing courses if you want individual lessons with one of our instructors at your service. Semi-private courses if you want to learn together with another person sharing a kite and an instructor; or the option of kitesurfing courses for groups of 3 or 4 people in which you can share with your friends an instructor and two kites. The learning time may depend on your previous experience, with an average of 6 hours for beginners. We adjust to your needs so that you enjoy an effective and fun learning process, we join you on your journey to kitesurfing mastership!

Normally kitesurfing courses are given on the beach of Los Lances north, in front of the chiringuito Agua in the area delimited for schools. But sometimes, if the wind is too strong, we can do the lessons in Palmones beach or even in Valdevaqueros. Anyway we always inform our students in advance in case we have to move from our usual spot in Los Lances north.
Just sunscreen and sunglasses. In the kitesurfing courses in Tarifa that we offer all the material is included: wetsuit, buoyancy vest, helmet, harness, kite, bar, board, etc.
It will never be dangerous if you get assistance from a professional. Keep in mind that kitesurfing is a lot of fun if you know how to practice it, but it can be dangerous for you and the rest of the beach users if you try to be self-taught and learn on your own, as there are many techniques to learn and practice that require the instructions of qualified instructors.
Normally children from the age of 6 years old can start learning. Kitesurfing is a sport that does not require much physical strength and it will be very important the level of attention that children can have to understand the techniques and be able to progress.
Everything will depend on the characteristics of each student, as there are people who learn more quickly and there are people who need a little more time to reach the same objectives. The most common is that a beginner student with no previous experience, in the private course modality, needs around 6 hours to ride the first metres.
Don’t worry, you will only pay for the hours of lessons you can do. The most common is that there is wind in Tarifa, but in case there is not, we will not do the lesson, and if you have paid a reservation we will refund it in full.
